
Confirmed to return to Adelaide later this year, the AIR Awards has unveiled its 2022 nominees.
Once again taking place in South Australia alongside the Indie-Con Australia Conference and celebrating the country’s independent music sector, the invite-only event will take over Freemasons Hall on August 4.
Genesis Owusu, Courtney Barnett, Amyl & The Sniffers, The Jungle Giants and more are among those picking up multiple nominations.

South Australian Minister for Arts, Andrea Michaels MP, added: “Music – be it recorded or live – plays such a huge part of our lives, and has a significant impact on our culture, wellbeing and on our economy. I would like to congratulate the nominees this year and look forward to welcoming delegates from around the country back to Adelaide.”
