Childish Gambino BIOGRAPHY

Donald Glover, aka  Childish Gambino - actor, screenwriter, rapper, beatmaker, director - a man of many talents, as well as a source of ongoing debate in the hip-hop community. Gambino too often goes beyond the edge of "rap", delving into experiments with the sound and structure of the text. At the same time, his experience as a screenwriter and actor allows him to build complex tracks with excellent punchlines.

He began spreading his first works on the Internet back in 2008. Still, the surge in popularity came only in 2011 - the year of the release of his debut album Camp, which received conflicting ratings from critics, in particular, A- (i.e. 9 out of 10) from Robert Cristo and 1.6 out of 10 by Pitchfork. Such a scatter could not but make a noise even with a mediocre album, and in the case of Gambino, new listeners threw the crowd. After the release of the concept album "Because The Internet" in 2013, the flames flared up with renewed vigor: some called it the release of the year, others criticized mercilessly. One way or another, Donald Glover was and remained an extremely controversial person with very non-standard creativity.
