Biography Lil uzi vert

American rapper Symere Woods, better known under the pseudonym Lil Uzi Vert, is not only a popular performer but also the author of his own songs, which are becoming more and more in the singer's discography every year.

The future musician was born in the summer of 1994 in the American city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Woods' childhood was calm, during his school years he loved to listen to music, then the boy preferred the songs of Mike Jones, and the first album that the rapper bought was his. The young man also liked the tracks of the Ying Yang Twins, and later began listening to Wiz Khalifa and the American hip-hop artist Meek Mill, which later influenced his style.

However, Samir did not limit himself to rap, at the age of 13 the guy began to listen to Marilyn Manson and for some time was even his big fan. However, Woods' true love for hip-hop appeared a little later. The boy was then in the 10th grade and for the first time heard his classmate performing freestyle.

This impressed him greatly and marked the beginning of a musical career. Together with two friends, he creates a rap group called Steaktown, but the collective did not last long, it broke up when the guy was 17 years old but left his mark on the further fate of the musician.

Woods never finished his studies, the guy leaves school and gets a job in a store. However, after 4 days she quit, and at the same time, the mother kicks her son out of the house. After this incident, the rapper got his first tattoo; it was the word "faith" on the artist's face.

Officially, the beginning of Lil Uzi Vert's career is considered 2015, but in fact, he began to rap even earlier. The guy recorded his first mini-album called "Purple Thoughtz" in 2014 and soon began to attract the attention of other musicians. However, his landmark acquaintance with Don Cannon took place a little later. The man heard one of the rapper's songs on the radio, played by DJ Diamond Kuts, and immediately offered him to sign a contract. Also, the young man began to collaborate with Generation Now and Atlantic Records.

However, the musician does not enjoy working with recording studios. As he later admitted in an interview, the producers do not know him at all, but they behave as if they are old friends. With the release of the track "Money Longer", Lil Uzi Vert consolidates the fame of the author of one hit, as his other songs recorded and successful are quickly losing popularity.

And only later, when the singer released successful releases like "Bad and Boujee" with hip-hop trio Migos from Atlanta or the track "Ps & Qs", critics said that the rapper was not capable of doing anything "eternal", and his breakthrough singles quickly are forgotten by the listeners.
